4-Faith Azuriels Best Retreat

I can't tell you EVERYTHING what had happened during the retreat for it takes forever to type. haha! I'll just share some realizitaions and highlights of this retreat.

Our 4-Faith class had a 3-day retreat in Silay City, Bacolod from October 15-17, 2009. This retreat enables us to stop just for these days and reminisce all our past actions. Forget all about school stuffs and the internet. Surrender your watches and gadgets. You can have them back and enjoy all your life. Sit back, relax, and 100% cooperation. From this, we are able to start something new- life.

I have been to many recollections with my classmates and retreat with mom in Capiz. My past experiences of recollections were far away from this. It's a magical feeling in Bacolod. I'm relaxed and free to expressed all my emotions with God and to myself. I knew and understood myself deeper. It's when I could burst all my tears. I'm so thankful that I had experienced this retreat with my classmates. There are untold challenges for us to find out. Plus! I love the songs played. Most of these songs are songs playing in my laptop while studying at night. That's why they're familiar to me.

At this point of time, I'm browsing retreat photos because it's worth memorable. Most of my classmates arrived in Bacolod for the first time. Well, it's my first time to travel by a SuperCat and 4th time to visit Bacolod.

1st Day:
*evening mass

2nd Day:
*silent dinner
*read palanca letters from loved ones

Last Day:
*morning mass
*tour in Victor Fernandez Gaston ancestral house
*lunch and shop in SM City Bacolod

If I miss any details, please drop some comments. Thanks!

Happy Teacher's Day

The teachers' day in our school (Ateneo de Iloilo-SMCS) happened yesterday. All fourth year students are dutifully acting as teachers from Grade 1 until 3rd year high school. So obviously I taught kids yesterday. Meryle, Jose Ran and I are groupmates. Our teacher counterpart is Mrs. Gatungay who teaches H.E. So we discussed about pregnancy to the classes of 2-Diligence and 2-Fortitude.

And guess what happened to my Acer laptop yesterday? The school guard confiscated it. I placed it inside my bag and before I unzipped it, the famous guard told me to give it to him. I didn't without asking. Therefore, he grabbed it confiscated Justin's Toshiba laptop also. Now I learned a lesson: Always ask for a permit. I was researching about tesla coils for our physics investigative project. I don't want this to happen again. But it's okay since I cannot "Facebook" this weekend.

Exams will be on next Wednesday to Friday.

Lost Again

It's been weeks that I haven't blogged. Maybe because of all the pressures, late night Facebook, full-day schedules and academic demand. I miss blogging for the past days. I told myself what am I going to write about. But my laziness rule my world again. I read only a few stories on www.fanfiction.net. Listening to AOL Radio started to be a habit since my uncle told me to listen on its site. Next I purchased a Ranch House on YoVille for 10,000 yocoins. Now I can't wait to play YoVille.

I have to tell you that since Tuesday (Sept. 2), I was so lost that I'm not even myself. I don't know what happened to me. Blame it on the cold weather that makes me feel sleepy, hungry and tired. haha! So I got lower scores on quizzes on CLE, Physics, English and Math (i think). WOW!!! I waste this week. I can't even imagine today is Friday. My mind is wailing to study, study, study...

Plus I spent sooo much allowance on food. I hate our school canteen since the food costs expensive. You can buy a bottle of water for P10 in grocery stores. Well the same bottle of water costs P20 in school.

I'm happier now

okay.. i've got new digs to tell you. Actually my mom bought me my first laptop last September 3, 2009 at 7:30 pm. It's brand new ACER Aspire 4736z. If you have the same laptop as mine, well that's cool. haha!!!

At this moment, I can't believe I have one because all these times, I've been wanting a laptop for myself. It makes my life easier compared to days that I don't own a laptop. But my life would be easiest if we have WiFi at home.

What I miss most yesterday is. . .

So where do I start?

I woke up very late today at 11 in the morning. Before checking the time on my cell phone, I thought It's like 8 am. Well it's not. I'm feeling disappointed up to this point of time. I should have done so many things today and could have finished the 250-vocabulary word assignment earlier. I could have studied harder but because of constraint of the time, I wasn't able to do so.

The fad keeps on going.. Black gladiator sandals never go out of style. While helping mom choose to buy her sneakers, I found along the shoe department a pair of black gladiator sandals. Lucky I was to have saved a minimum amount of money waiting for fate to come along. The sandals were really affordable and that left me no more enough money for Coffee Break this week. haha!

After shopping, Mom and I went home to refreshen up for a birthday dinner of Tito Gimo held in his home. It's absolutely the perfect moment to reunite with family relatives, especially to my beloved best friends the TRL (group name for Tiffany, Raiza and I). The last time we've seen each other together was on my June 21st birthday in Breakthrough resort. We missed each other so much that when I was riding on a taxi going to Raiza's home yesterday night, Raiza was waiting on their gate outside. We jumped high and hugged each other when we've seen each other. People who witnessed us on the streets looked questionnable to why the heck are we enjoying. haha! Oh for your information yesterday was the first time I surprised my family relatives with my new look. I mean new hairstyle coz of bangs. Gold plain slippers before.. now black with gold detailed-gladiator sandals.

Busy week

Inspiring photo of TRL (Tiffany, Raiza, and Lea) taken along the shores of Boracay. Everytime I enter and leave my room, I looked at our photo. This reminds me of our happy and unforgetable memories in one of the most popular beaches in the world.

Researching about OIL in my reliable encyclopedia.

Exams and intramurals happened for the past weeks. I thought I could get enough sleep and rest after all. But peer pressures and on-demand shedules are keeping my mind worry. Cheer dance practices were better than this week. Oh just to tell you.. NCAE (National Career Assessment Exam) happened today. Obviously I studied only this morning while riding on the taxi going to school at 6:30 am. The test were sooo easy on the first and last pages. I hate it when there's upcoming questions in Tagalog form. haha! As if my brain can't occupy all the Filipino stuffs I learned. Anyway, we have debate on physics tomorrow (2nd period in the morning.. 8:20 am). So help me God.

How I wish our group won't be chosen tomorrow. Even though I started researching about our assigned topic which is Oil Power Plant as energy source, I still get confuse. As if I can't sleep tonight. huhu.. I would like to inform you that my heart is pumping currently because of pressures..pressures..pressures.. Now I may take a deep breath.

So why am I wasting my time here making a post on my blog rather than start researching for our debate tomorrow? This evening, while I was surfing the net in IPX internet cafe, Coffee Break just suddenly alert my mind. It keeps on reminding me about COFFEE! (my greatest guilty pleasure as of now). Then I bought Irish Creme, which is the coffee of the week. According to the lady barista, this brewed coffee would effectively help me stay awake tonight because I asked her before what coffee suits for a student like me. I would have chosen Americano but it tastes bitter.

Sarah Geronimo Live in Iloilo City!

It was a magestic concert of Sarah Geronimo last night in University of San Agustin. Together with the G Force dancers, Mark Bautista, Simon Wood, Jimmy Marquz and Mark Herras, the concert was absolutely AMAZING!!! The whole crowd cheer and dance while Sarah keeps our hearts sing. So the concert starts at 8 pm and ends at 11:30 pm.

After the concert.. Cheryle poises before the sponsor area.

Nothing to do.. just falling in line from 4:30 pm until 6 pm
.

Reading 'Eleven Minutes' by Paulo Coehlo while falling in line. We're bored. Can't wait to watch the concert.

After all... I couldn't believe that I met Sarah Geronimo in personal last night for the first time. I thought I wouldn't watch her concert because mom wouldn't sit beside me. So I sat on the upper deck which looks too for me to see Sarah close-up. I love her futuristic-design attire. She changed on different costumes. Of course, I looove her makeup! My mom is finding out who did her hair and makeup. haha!
